Taste: Mark Bittman

Mark Bittman says his "new dream job is to get healthier food onto the plates of more Americans." After years of teaching millions of Americans how to cook via his widely read columns for the New York Times Dining section and his extraordinarily popular cookbooks (let alone teaching them to think about their food choices), Bittman recently announced his move from food journalism to food innovation, when he joined as a partner in a new vegan food delivery service called The Purple Carrot.

We have the honor of welcoming Mark as one of our keynote speakers at Taste next month, where he will elaborate on his core message that food has the power not just to save lives but the planet.

Join us—and Mark Bittman—on February 12 in Los Angeles, where we will also hear from a host of authors, critics, designers, and chefs, each of whom will share their experiences, opinions, and questions on where food, design, and innovation intersect.

We hope you will join us. Tickets can be purchased here.
