Quilian Riano


Quilian Riano is an architect and writer based in Brooklyn, New York.

Quilian is working on  design and research projects in Europe and the Americas with DSGN AGNC, with colleagues at Harvard University, with Architecture 2030 and with Estudio Teddy Cruz. His research focuses on devising hybrid urban, landscape and architectural systems to mediate the conditions of mobile populations (including displaced people, refugees and immigrants). Quilian has taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the Wentworth Institute of Technology and the City College of New York.
