After completing his studies in 2001, Partyka began work on his long-term photography project Field Work. His photographs were included in the exhibition of British landscape art “A Picture of Britain” at the Tate gallery in London, 2005, and have since been exhibited widely, including at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Gainsborough's House, the Jerwood Space and the Boutographies Photo Festival. Publications include Granta, Drawbridge, Guardian and Burn Magazine. A series of photographs from the Cambridgeshire fens were included in the new edition of the book Fenwomen (Full Circle Editions, 2011).
