Placement

Placement is a transient, site-specific project by graphic designers Danielle Aubert, Lana Cavar and Natasha Chandani. Danielle Aubert teaches at Wayne State University in Detroit and lives in Lafayette Park. She and Zagreb-based Lana Cavar work together as I.T.U., a platform which allows them to work for clients and explore issues related to graphic design practice. Lana also works on cultural and architectural publications in Europe. Natasha Chandani is based in New York City and has worked on publications with clients in the United States, the Netherlands, the UK and India. Placement aims to call attention to the spontaneous aesthetic decisions people make in their use of space. The first project location is Lafayette Park in Detroit, Michigan.
