Armando Carbonell


Armando Carbonell is Chairman of the Department of Planning and Urban Form at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He co-edited two recent volumes, Resilient Coastal City Regions: Planning for Climate Change in the United States and Australia and Regional Planning in America: Practice and Prospect. Carbonell has been a lecturer and design critic in urban planning and design at Harvard University and taught planning studios at the University of Pennsylvania. He recently delivered the annual Manchester University (U.K.) Lecture on Environment and Development, “Territory and Terroir: Inhabiting Regions.” Carbonell is Policy and Practice Editor of the British journal Town Planning Review.
