Becky Bermont is a partner at Creative Leadership LLC, conducting consulting and thought leadership work at the intersection of design, leadership and technology. She co-authored the book Redesigning Leadership with John Maeda, about the point of view artists and designers bring to leadership.
For six years, Becky lead the Media group at the Rhode Island School of Design, overseeing marketing, public relations, and thought leadership efforts for the College, including directing a national strategy to advocate for the role of art and design in innovation through the STEM to STEAM movement. Prior to her work at RISD, Becky was the Director of Sponsor Management at the MIT Media Lab, leading the program of interaction between the Media Lab and its industry sponsors like Google, IBM, and Samsung.
Prior to MIT, she was a Product Marketer in Yahoo!'s Connected Life group, and was a Consumer Research Analyst at Forrester Research. Becky holds a BA with in Psychology from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
