Bill Moran

Bill Moran has been associated with the Hamilton Wood Type Museum since 2001, where he has volunteered, taught, and worked. In 2002 Bill was commissioned to create the museum's first new type face design, Hamilton Offset. In 2004 he wrote and published Hamilton Wood Type: A History in Headlines. As a third generation letterpress printer, Bill runs his design practice Blinc Publishing in St. Paul, Minnesota, and serves as the museum’s Artistic Director. His brother Jim Moran is the museum’s Director.
