Christian Widmer

Christian Widmer was born in 1969 in Park Ridge, Illinois. He initially aspired to be a filmmaker but was converted to photography when he discovered the work of American photographers Harry Callahan and Lee Friedlander. Widmer received both his B.A. in Studio Art and his M.F.A. in photography from Arizona State University. He currently resides in Washington, DC.
