Corine Vermeulen

Dutch artist Corine Vermeulen has been working and living in Detroit since 2006. She was awarded the Kresge Arts in Detroit Fellowship in 2009. Her work has been published and exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently at the Detroit Institute of Arts and in Germany as part of Dreimal Mies, an exhibition that accompanied the symposium ReThinking Mies. Her long-term project Your Town Tomorrow documents Detroit's shifting social and geographic ecologies. She is currently working on a project in Medellin, Colombia.
