Jesse LeCavalier
Jesse LeCavalier is trained as an architect, with degrees from Brown University and the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree on retail logistics and urbanism at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, in Zürich, where he has taught design studios and research seminars. He has also taught architectural design at the American University of Sharjah and at Oberlin College in Ohio.
Jesse LeCavalier spent two years working at agps.architecture and was involved with the design of the new Children's Museum of Los Angeles. He is a co-author of the publication This Will _ This and has contributed to Cities of Change: Addis Ababa, Deviations: Designing Architecture, 306090 13, archithese, Architecture &, and MONU. He is a Poiesis Fellow at the Institute for Public Knowledge at New York University and will be a Sanders Fellow at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning for the 2010-2011 academic year.
