is a licensed architect in Germany, an educator, and a scholar. She co-directed the Program for Urban Processes at the University of the Arts Berlin, was a Visiting Scholar at MIT, and is now an assistant professor of architecture at the University of Washington. Her academic work has been presented at numerous international conferences and published in journals such as the Journal of Urban History
