Paho Mann


Paho Mann lives and works in Denton, Texas, where he is an Assistant Professor of Photography at the University of North Texas.

Mann’s work investigates the physical manifestations of individuality, using both traditional photographic practices and contemporary digital technology. His work has been included in exhibitions at the Arizona State University Art Museum, the Albuquerque Center for Contemporary Art, and the Tucson Museum of Art, where it is in the permanent collection. He is currently working on a commission for the public art program of Phoenix, Arizona.

Mann was born in 1978 on his parents homestead near Snowflake, Arizona. In 1992 he moved with his family to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where in 2001 he received a BFA from the University of New Mexico. He received his MFA from Arizona State University in 2007.
