I think the plight of the Nomadi is a crucial one to be solved if the Human race is to live in balance with all creatures. Roma live light weight, and, while they do take advantage of the City Urban amenities, they would not if the City was clearly defined as a 3D space, and the areas outside were more open and natural.
How will landese mix with nomadics? That is the answer to the key stone question of human future settlement in peace.

This is just another case of European racism towards different minorities. Noone wants to remain secluded from the rest of society from generation to generation, and saying they wish to continue living the lifestyles currently imposed on them is, in my opinion, extremely closed minded. Everyone wants to send their children to school, pay taxes, and own property, thus integrating themselves in society. Although they may be permitted to do so in the current circumstances, they need to be encouraged to do by the city council, as the first step to smoothly integrating a minority is making them feel welcome.

Please keep in mind that the Roma do want to send their children to school but the system makes it very difficult for them. Buses for example are organized in such a way that they pick up the "Italian" kids first and then the Roma (the majority of which are Italian citizens). Because of this the Roma children arrive to school an hour late missing a lot of what is being taught and also being stigmatized for disrupting class. The camps are often not equipped with hot water, or clean water for that matter, and this makes it difficult to be part of the "clean" society.

The article should also analyze what other benefits are granted to Roma people by the italian government at no cost at all.

Other minorities have found a way of integrating themselves with the italian society. They work, pay taxes, pay rent or own their own house, send their children to school to give them a better future. They simply and bravely build their life and contribute in building a better cosmopolitan italian society.

What do the Roma people do except organizing microcriminality around the streets of Rome, not sending their kids to school, thus not integrating themselves into the italian society?
That same society that pays for their housing, electricity, stipend and medical care.
