	<description><![CDATA[Thanks for a most excellent article about two of my favorite topics: Louis Curtiss and the vagaries of fame in the architectural world. I think you have done justice to both with this excellent piece.<br />

I would only offer that the reason Curtiss is considered Kansas City's best architect is because Steve Abend is still living. Abend's work with Abend Singleton Associates (later ASAI) will be turning visitors' heads in Kansas City in the same way that Curtiss' does for decades to come.]]></description>
