	<description><![CDATA[SOOO good to read an article dissecting True Stories - a film that blew me away when I first saw it in the late nineties. It seemed so prescient, as you've mentioned. <br />

If this were reissued I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.<br />

Oh, and congratulations on getting through the whole article without mentioning 'Radiohead' (although having said that I do feel that OK Computer was heavily inspired by the movie and is almost a companion piece). ]]></description>

	<title><![CDATA[Responding to "True Stories: A Film about People Like Us"]]></title>

so beutiful text. I grew up with this disc. In my youth, I knew that True Stories was the soundtrack of a movie, but I never saw it. However, I translated his lyrics and read about Byrne as director (years ago!). About the sound, rocker than other Talking Heads releases. Only bass, guitar and drums, with a superb Byrne. Vinyl disc so different in style, too, in bold types. Of course, some of the screens you post remembers me to an early David Lynch and, why not? Coen brothers.]]></description>
