Thanks for this. Looks like Chris Ware did a reorganized but slightly obvious rip-off, aka "inspiration", for his Acme Novelty Library 17 from the 1930s News Atlas. Naysayers will say of course that "everything has been done before", "there is nothing new under the sun" etc etc.
