Hugony Sisters, 1928
The Hugony sisters from Italy were part of “an assembly of world-renowned acrobatic troupes” performing with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows. After their first appearance in America in 1928 the sisters were described as “marvels of strength and agility.”
