Sigourney Schultz

Sigourney Schultz is a Los Angeles–based writer and art historian whose work explores diasporic memory and media aesthetics across contemporary art and technology. Her criticism and essays have appeared in Art in America, e-flux, Hyperallergic, ArtAsiaPacific, and Contemporary Art Review LA. She holds an MA in art history from Hunter College in New York City. Blending personal memory with cultural critique, she writes about the expansiveness and responsibilities of our rapidly evolving digital world. Outside of writing, she spends her time wandering Los Angeles with her dog, Bacon, rewatching Studio Ghibli films, and contemplating speculative futures, both real and imagined.
