William H. Helfand is author of several books including The Picture of Health, Quack, Quack, Quack and Pharmacy: An Illustrated History. He is a Trustee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a member of the Board of the Library Company of Philadelphia, and a former president of the Grolier Club of New York.
