Episode 108: Covers

This week, Jessica and Michael discuss their selections for #bookcover2019, a seven-day challenge on Twitter where users share a book cover each day.

As Jessica spent some time scouring her library, she says:

Sometimes, I open these books and that smell of summer, of old paper, comes back to me and I had this Proustian moment of being in the library as a kid in the summertime taking out my book or bringing back a book and what it smelled like when they stamped it in the back. I have such a visceral, totemic feeling about those books and those volumes.
