The Cambridge Analytica story got Jessica to put her Facebook account “on pause,” as she says — or, as Facebook puts it, her “content isn’t available right now.” Yet most people keep using Facebook despite this latest violation of privacy, Michael says, because humans are social animals. “Most people don’t want to live like hermits.”
