Mauro Porcini
Mauro Porcini is the first Chief Design Officer in Pepsico’s entire 121 year history. In that role, he leads innovation by design across the companies entire food and beverage portfolio. Mauro’s approach to design has earned him hundreds of personal and professional accolades, he has over 800 design awards from his work at Pepsico alone. He was designated one of Fortune magazine’s 40 under 40, a Fast Company Master of Design, and one of the 50 most influential designers in America. He’s also one of the 10 Italians that will change the world. And lastly, he was named one of the 30 best dressed men of 2013 by GQ.
Debbie talks to Mauro about his childhood and his corporate work. “When you see the customer excited about your idea, launch it. Let’s do it. It works, it works very well.”
