Alain de Botton

Alain de Botton is a philosopher, writer, and award-winning television presenter. At 23, he published Essays in Love (1993), which went on to sell two million copies. Other bestsellers include How Proust Can Change Your Life (1997), Status Anxiety (2004) and The Architecture of Happiness (2006). In 2008 he co-founded The School of Life and in 2009 he co-founded Living Architecture in.

Debbie talks to Alain about  love and sex. “My view of human nature is that all of us are only just holding it together in various ways. And that’s ok. We just need to go easy with one another, knowing that we are all these incredibly fragile beings.”
