Classic Albums Reimagined as Books

Christophe Gowans re-imagines well-known album covers as book jackets. His’s been doing so for a couple of years now, and his series, “The Record Books”, has almost 120 posted on his site.
‘It’s a game, really,’ he says. ‘You go digging for an image to replace the one you know. You have to try and think of them in neutral, then it becomes about what the names suggest to me.’ You will never listen to Let England Shake or The Man-Machine in quite the same way again…
