S1E8: Leslie Koch
Leslie Koch was the president and CEO of the Trust for Governors Island, an abandoned military post in New York Harbor into a public park.
When she took on the job of reviving Governors Island, Koch says,
The question that everyone was asking was, “What is this place going to be?“ I said, That’s not really the right question.
Instead, Koch thought they should be asking:
“What should we do first?” And that yields a completely different path.
