Season Seven of Design Matters with Debbie Millman

We are pleased to announce that Season Seven of Design Matters with Debbie Millman will premiere on Observer Media this Friday with special guest, Michael Arad.

Design Matters is returning to regular weekly broadcasts and a full season of audio/podcast interviews with designers, artists, writers, thought leaders and general all-around provocateurs. This exciting season will include interviews with:

Debbie Millman notes, “Design Matters began in February of 2005 with an idea and a telephone line. I thought it would be a great way to ask my heroes everything I wanted to know about their lives and their thoughts and their careers without seeming stalker-y. In the process, I gleaned the most magnificent view of some of the greatest design thinkers and practitioners of our time. I realized the opportunity to share the brilliance of my guests with an audience I never expected was the gift of a lifetime."

The shows now are recorded in the new recording studio at the Masters in Branding Program at the School of Visual Arts — all shows will be aired regularly on Fridays.

I've listened to nearly every episode of design matters. (Thanks to Design Observer putting them all up to download) It's a constant source of inspiration and continues to help me understand why I became a designer! Keep up the great work Debbie :)
