Design Observer Studio Sessions November 12
On March 20, Design Observer launched a new initiative to create space for critical conversations, which have become even more necessary in this season of protest and social distancing. The Design Observer Studio Sessions continue our long-term commitment to hosting intimate and influential gatherings where we look together at the impact that design has on our lives and on the world around us.
The Design Observer Studio Sessions welcome 100 members of the extended community to engage with two leading voices in design, business, culture, and technology.
On November 12, Design Observer co-founder Jessica Helfand will discuss Johnson Publishing Company, Ebony, and 75 Years of Black Excellence with our featured guests:
Maurice Cherry is principal and creative director at Lunch, an award-winning multidisciplinary studio in Atlanta, GA, and the host of the award-winning podcast Revision Path™, which is the first podcast to be added to the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture.
