Google Image Search Results, Abstracted and Animated
Google Image Search Results, Abstracted from R Walker on Vimeo.
In a Design Observer post some time back, I played around with Google Image Search results as independent visual objects, and have continued to collect these image abstractions on a dedicated Tumblr. When I learned that MoMA was soliciting one-minute videos via its Abstract Currents Vimeo group, it inspired me to convert my digital readymade collection into video form, and throw it into the mix. Here’s what I came up with: Click through to rate it or hate it. —Rob Walker
