Liz Danzico is creative director for NPR, where she guides both visual design and user experience.
Radio stories have been liberated from the radio, which gives the public so many new ways of listening. How does NPR create a consistent experience for listeners who might be using a smartphone, a watch, or the dashboard of a car?
It wasn’t important per se that NPR looked like one thing. But it was very important for us to focus on the natural human behaviors that exist across different listening experiences.…How do we connect all those dots so that we can think more about behavior?
