Mustard Field, Bangladesh, 2015
Photo by Sarker Protick / VII. Mustard Field, Bangladesh, 2015.
From the photographer: “One morning I came across this mustard field while I was documenting the disappearing lands caused by river erosion in Bangladesh for my long term work ‘Of River and Lost Lands’. Riverbank erosion results in loss of farm and homestead land. While global warming and climate change are still being questioned, these are the places facing consequences. Places in this photograph do not exist anymore.”
