Karin Fong is a founding member of Imaginary Forces, which specializes in creating titles for TV shows and movies. With more and more series available, Fong says,

titles have never been more important for a show. Some shows drop them before the season or the series opens because so they become their own form of teasers. You know fans do their own versions of titles.
