Ellen Mirojnick is the costume designer for Bridgerton.
Before designing the Netflix Regency drama that became a pandemic hit, Mirojnick worked on other Shondaland productions, and had a good sense of the production company’s aesthetic:
They knew that I understood the fashion aspect of creating a world that you looked at and wanted to wear and wanted to be like the character…. There is an aspiration of beauty. There’s an aspiration always to showing a side that really represents us — us as a full culture — on everything that they do and everything they expect you to do.
